when did u bc?
I did my BC on March 24, 2008 after researching natural hair for about 3 months.

who long did u transistion for?
I planned on transitioning for 6 months or so but only lasted for 2 months before I just had to get rid of my damaged relaxed ends.

what products did u use while transistioning?
While I transitioned I stayed in braids & sew in weaves, I didn't really use any products at all because my hair was protected but when I did I use the Organic Root Stimulator Carrot Mayonnaise for moisture. I also used Crème of Nature shampoo & conditioner to lean and condition my hair.

what products do u use now that u are natural?
I change my products every few months because as my hair grows my hair needs change, but for the most part I have a few staple products.

do u ever think that i will relaxed your hair again?
I don't think I will ever relax my hair ever again, not for a job, to please society
, to please others, or anyone else. I am so much in love with my hair that I can't see myself ever going back.

what was the hardest thing about your transistion?
I think the hardest thing about my transition was accepting my natural hair texture as it truly is, with no product in it at all. When I was transitioning I always saw women with curly hair and I wanted my hair to be like that, so after I went natural and saw my actual hair, it wasa lot to take in. It took some time to be able to go with out curl defining products and be able to just rock my fro as it is. Now I am able to do it boldly and I don't care who doesn't like it.

what is the one thign u love about being natural?
I love how versitile my hair is, the color, the fullness of it, the texture, the way it curls around my finger, the way it defies gravity and does what it wants. Our hair is perfect in every sense of the word!
